My name is JoAnna and I'm the owner/photographer of Captivating Images. We proudly serve the Omaha, Gretna, Elkhorn, Fremont, Cedar Bluffs, Valley, Ashland and Waterloo areas. We specialize in newborns, babies, children, maternity, graduates/seniors and families. My business was born in the summer of 2006 andi it is truly a dream come true for me to be able to have my own business and watch it grow and evolve. If it were not for the love and support of my husband and family, none of this would be possible. I’ve always been interested in photography, and it's been a hobby of mine for a long time, but it wasn’t until after my children were born that it became a passion. As they began to grow and change quickly, I was always trying to capture the giggles, tears and wonder. I realized this is what I was meant to do with my life, so I began taking photography classes, although I am mainly self taught.
My favorite portraits are not necessarily posed, but where I can capture images of a child just being himself. Smiles are great, but getting a timeless portrait of a thoughtful gaze or eruption of laughter is my goal. I want my images to tug at your heart. I want to help you capture the wonderful moments that we all take for granted, and have difficulty in remembering. I strive to create images that are a window to your child’s soul and personality. These are images that will be cherished for lifetime. Remembering what your child was like long after they have grown is priceless. I will capture and preserve the memories for you. I hope you enjoy viewing my work, and get a feel for who I am as a photographer.
Thanks for visiting my site!
